Our team of mobile instructors' are able to offer training nationwide if required. All employers have a legal responsibility under the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (HASAW) to provide adequate information, instruction and training for their employees before allowing them to use any type of work equipment. This also applies to members of staff who supervise or manage the use of equipment as laid down in the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). On completion of any Evolution FLT course delegates will be issued with a relevant information pack. This will contain a current approved Code of Practice, other related information and guidance. It will also contain a certificate of course attendance, which will be recognised and accepted throughout industry. All courses are available at short notice and can be tailored to suit the individual. Our Head Office based in Harlow, Essex, is ideally situated to offer training throughout Essex, Hertfordshire and London. Work at Height including Harness |

In 2005/2006 falls from height accounted for 46 fatal accidents and around 3350 major injuries. They remain the single biggest cause of workplace fatality and major injury. (source HSE) Many of these fatalities and injuries could have been avoided with appropriate training and understanding of safety equipment. The Work at Height Regulations 2005 state that: Evolution FLT offer a one day training course to ensure all those working at height are familiar with all regulations and use of appropriate equipment. The course includes theory and hands on practical sessions. This will include correct fitting and care of Personal Protective Equipment. |

It is a requirement of the Work at Height Regulations 2005 that all personnel using Ladders and Steps are trained in, and aware of, their correct use. Failure to comply with the regulations can lead to prosecution. It is a popular myth that Ladders and Steps have been banned by the HSE. This is not true. Given the correct training and risk assessment they can be used for the following By attending an Evolution FLT training day delegates will be made aware of the current legislation. They will also be instructed in the safe use and selection of Ladders and Steps. The course also includes a guide on basic inspection of equipment. Upon completion a certificate of attendance will be issued. |

If training at your business premises, please note that it is your responsibility to ensure the following: The Machine to be trained on has a current LOLER certificate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as harnesses, lanyards, reflective jackets and safety helmets are supplied for each trainee as required.
