Refresher Familiarisation Training for existing licence holders

Passed your lorry test some time ago?
Maybe outside the UK? Inexperienced driver?

Then take a Refresher Practice Session for 4 hours or more, to improve or refresh driving skills.

Available on our automatic or manual transmission Rigid Trucks as well as our Articulated Vehicle.

Just you and the instructor to gain confidence and experience handling a big rig.

This training is also suitable for EU licence holders who may be unfamiliar with UK roads although we may suggest to start training with a manual rigid vehicle before continuing with the bigger articulated range change gear box vehicle.

Our LGV C1 are ideal training vehicles

Pass on our 4.6 tonne vehicle to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes up to 7.5 tonnes for: Home delivery vehicles, ambulances, horseboxes, larger vans or small trucks.

Compact and easy to handle, makes negotiating driving hazards easy, especially with good all round visibility, hydraulic brakes and other car-like features and controls.

If you want to drive full size 7.5 tonne vehicles after passing take a FREE lesson with one of our LGV C vehicles to help become familiar with air brakes.

Thinking about taking LGV C (HGV Class 2) in the future?

Instead of C1, you can go straight to LGV C as this will give you a C1 licence as well.

The process is the same, Step 1 to Step 4, however when using our easy automatic 'C' lorries, it won't necessarily take much more time or money, but it will give you more flexibility and job opportunities, and still cover you to drive Manual LGV C1 and Manual C vehicles.
